Cedar Creek is an unincorporated rural community in Bastrop County, Texas. It is located 11 miles west of Bastrop at the intersection of State Highway 21 and FM 535. Cedar Creek is conveniently located to Austin, on Highway 71 and San Marcos via Highway 21. There are several home options including small and large quiet neighborhoods to farm and ranch land.

McKinney Roughs Nature Park is an 1,100 acre day park that boasts hiking trails and community programs in a specially created 4 ecosystem park located on the Colorado River. There are also special event facilities for rent. It is located just 11 miles East of the Austin Bergstrom International Airport on Highway 71.
Capital of Texas Zoo offers a unique experience located in the Cedar Creek area. It is home to over 500 rare and beautiful wild animals with a mission of wildlife education and conservation of endangered species.

CEDAR CREEK NEIGHBORHOODS
Arbor Hills is an established neighborhood located in Cedar Creek, Texas just of Hwy 21. It is 15 minutes to historic downtown Bastrop and approximately 35 minutes to San Marcos or Austin. Most homes are custom JT Walker Homes. with lot sizes ranging from less than an acre to several acres. The community boasts privacy, a strong sense of community and a tranquil Central Texas landscape. The homes are mostly 3 bed, 2 bath homes with a 2 car garage. Home prices start in the low $200,000's.

The Forest at Colorado Crossing in Cedar Creek is just outside of Bastrop and 15 minutes from Austin Bergstrom International Airport in Austin. The private subdivision has two parks, a private hike and bike trail, paved and curbed streets, underground utilities, with lots that range in size from around 1 to 5 acres. The subdivision is protected with sensible HOA restrictions. The HOA has recently completed a new entrance to the Forest at Colorado Crossing subdivision and has plans to begin revamping the community pond and recreation area. There are still lots for sale and a few homes come on the market occasionally.

Homestead on Hobbs Creek offers tranquil country living with beautiful large lots, custom homes and wide paved streets. The Martin’s Meadow subdivision is located in Cedar Creek, TX just off of Texas Hwy 21 on the way from Bastrop to San Marcos. This subdivision is about 15 minutes away from Bastrop and about 35 minutes to San Marcos and Austin. The lot sizes are about 1 acre each and the home developer for this subdivision was Main Street Homes. Most of the homes were built around 2001-2003. Available home prices in this neighborhood range from the $130,000’s to the $180,000’s. The homes here have 3 to 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths and a few even have a private pool. River Crossing, located in Cedar Creek, Texas, is a deed restricted and gated subdivision run by the River Crossing Improvement Association. This subdivision caters to horse friendly properties. It is situated around 15 minutes to Austin’s Airport (ABIA) and about the same distance to downtown Bastrop, which is the county seat of Bastrop County. The subdivision consists of gently rolling hills and has a nature trail for horse and hiker. It also has two parks, one of which is along the Colorado River. Some properties have ponds, and property size ranges from two to six acres.
